Tool/software:
Hello, I am the engineering of Tronlong, and now I have a question to ask。
Project background:
Our core board SOM-TL6442 has 4GB and 8G capacity configurations by default, and the system can normally start from eMMC. Now some customers need to replace it with 16GB eMMC. The steps are as follows:
1. Change the eMMC capacity of the core board to 16GB;
2. Boot the system from the SD card and burn the system to eMMC using the script;
3. Change the BOOT SET mode to eMMC to boot the system from eMMC.
Result: Boot from eMMC, can not start normally, SPL has been stuck after hot reset.
Expect:At present, the two EMMCs Micron (16GB eMMC: MTFC16GAPALBH-IT) and FORESEE (16GB eMMC: FEMDRW016G-88A43) are both unable to start from eMMC, please ask what factors lead to this problem.
As shown below, starting from eMMC, SPL is stuck after hot reset
As shown below, booting from the SD card can boot normally
If you start from the SD card, you can view the eMMC device partition, indicating that eMMC can read and write normally
