TDA4VH-Q1: QNX: How to start applications in root user on start up

Tool/software:

QNX on TDA4VH : I'm trying to start some user applications on bootup.

By default, in QNX, it runs in non-root user, and has lesser performance, whereas if I run the same app in root user, it has better performance. Is this expected behavior in QNX? Is it possible to make it better in non-root user?

Also, I want to understand if I can start this application automatically as root user, on the bootup automatically in QNX. Can someone please help.

    Hi,

    The startup is part of the QNX BSP, which is a QNX Software Systems deliverable.  Please contact QNX Software Systems for support on this topic.

    TI is not aware of any performance discrepancy between root / non-root.   When contacting QNX, recommend giving a specific example of performance including measured data.
