TDA4VH-Q1: How to add perf_stats tool to custom yocto-build?

How were you running the perf_stat tool on the older versions? The perf tool still exists in the 09.02 default image.

In the older versions we followed the on-board build procedure as mentioned in perf_stats readme and ran it.But in the 09.02 it is not there in the default yocto-build.

What commit hash does the meta-edgeai/recipes-tisdk/edgeai-components/edgeai-gst-apps.bb say it's pulling?

I wanted to highlight some points which i observed:

For SDK 8.6 I installed from this link https://dr-download.ti.com/software-development/software-development-kit-sdk/MD-lOshtRwR8P/08.06.01.02/ti-processor-sdk-linux-j784s4-evm-08_06_01_02-Linux-x86-Install.bin

After doing the yocto setup i found that meta-edgeai is missing in the yocto-build\sources.I will attach a screenshot:

For SDK 9.02:

meta-edgeai/recipes-tisdk/edgeai-components/edgeai-gst-apps.bb is present

i will put the hash commit:

SRC_URI = "git://github.com/TexasInstruments/edgeai-gst-apps.git;branch=${BRANCH};protocol=https"
SRCREV = "21dce9bd8daa40722a3483adf586f8499f52262c"

But it is missing from the build after we build the image.
Any help will be much appreciated since we need to perform DDR Bandwidth usage calculations or If you can provide any alternate solutions

Which config are you using when running oe-layertool-setup.sh? You should use the processor-sdk-analytics-09.02.00-config.txt

Can you provide the  link for the source file for  perf_stats?

and yes we used ./oe-layertool-setup.sh -f configs/aptiv/processor-sdk-ospas120-09_02_00.txt as the config.

As suggested by you i tried using  processor-sdk-analytics-09.02.00-config.txt config file which contains meta-edgeai,git.ti.com/.../meta-edgeai.git,kirkstone,0de8484d01ea85a7c366e6b56b1119613321dddb,layers= ,after compilation i am able to see this file structure as below.Perf_stats still seems to be missing from the root file system.How to proceed after that?

The perf_stats script should fall within edgeai-gst-apps.
