DM368-IPNC v4l2 capture not running

Hi,

I am trying to execute the .out of v4l2 capture application on DM368-IPNC but i am getting the following errors:

# ./main.out vpfe ccdc capture vpfe ccdc capture.1: No decoder registered

init_camera_capture:open::: No such device or address.

Please guide me why it is giving errors like this. Also i am not able to run any of the ./moduletest.out drv | csl | image_tune | osa_ipc | application.

All are giving some errors.

/dev/video0 device is present in device directory and i have enabled davinci video capture in

ti-davinci -- sudo make menuconfig.

Also please find the bootlog(i am booting through nfs) while mounting through nfs.

  • Mayank,

In you case it looks there is Imagetune thread create failure in your case or some thread create failure which is causing it

we have not tested v4l2 inteface on IPNC hardware.

Also, suggest that you run only ./avserver.out 720P option at command lin initially and make sure to switch ON display in avserverUI.c

This will make sure that you are running capture only with display.

ONce this works, then you can one by one components like ./avserver.out 720p TI2A AEWB and so on.

And finally you can switch ON Codec, ten you can try with GUI and system server.

If you run entire system will tough to debug.

    Regards,

    Raghu
