AM623: AM6231x Power-Up Sequencing

Part Number: AM623
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM62P

Tool/software:

Hi Expert,

Regarding Power-Up Sequencing – Supply / Signal Assignments, I have two questions.

1.

Regarding the name of this VDDA_1P8_OLDI0 power supply, I did not see it in the table. When is the power-on sequence of this power supply?

2.

In the power-on sequence, D (VDDSHV4, VDDSHV5, VDDSHV6) will be powered on at the same time as B. B is the part that is powered by the +3.3V power supply, so is D powered on at the same time because the power supply is +3.3V?
If so, what about +1.8V? Will it be together with the C +1.8V part?

Thanks

Daniel

  • Hello Daniel,

    Thank you for the query

Regarding the name of this VDDA_1P8_OLDI0 power supply, I did not see it in the table. When is the power-on sequence of this power supply?

    part of waveform C.

Please refer Am62P schematics as a reference.

n the power-on sequence, D (VDDSHV4, VDDSHV5, VDDSHV6) will be powered on at the same time as B. B is the part that is powered by the +3.3V power supply, so is D powered on at the same time because the power supply is +3.3V?

    Table 7-4. Power-Up Sequencing – Supply / Signal Assignments

    (7) VDDSHV4, VDDSHV5, and VDDSHV6 were designed to support power-up, power-down, or dynamic voltage change without any
dependency on other power rails. This capability is required to support UHS-I SD Cards.
