I am currently working on the WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) functionality within the processor-sdk-rtos-j721e. I have found the APIs related to WDR, but I would like to know if there are any example applications, similar to the vision apps in the SDK, that demonstrate the use of these APIs.

Is there any documentation or sample code available that I could refer to?

Hi Dinesh,

We typically use the single-cam app under vision apps for VPAC tuning.

In the API:

int32_t CSL_rfeSetWdrConfig(const CSL_rawfe_cfgRegs *rfeRegs, uint32_t wdrModule, const Rfe_WdrConfig *cfg)

we can use the Rfe_WdrConfig structure to provide inputs to this function, such as long exposures, short exposures, etc.

However, in the single-camera application within the Vision App, it only enables and disables the WDR mode and there is no API present there related to WDR.

Is that sufficient to convert a normal image into an HDR image?"

CSL is low level driver in PDK.

Single-cam app is an openvx application program that only use the tiovx VISS kernel and does not call the low level driver directly.
