Please refer to the section in the TRM for Timestamp GENF Output 12.2.2.4.7.11 and related eg. 12.2.2.4.7.11.2 for the application.

There is GENF block at the top. With one of the CPSW outputs as an input and one of its outputs to CPSW as an input so that the core GENF can sync with the CPSW GENF and vice versa. The top level GENF would have outputs and inputs to pins so that you can either sync to GPS or sync other devices.
