TMS320C6748: Inquiry about LPDDR connectivity

This product is able to connect mDDR.
I heard that mDDR has recently been replaced by LPDDR.
Is it possible to connect LPDDR (3 or more)?

Yes, mDDR and LPDDR are synonymous. The device supports memories that are compatible with the JESD209 SDRAM specification. But the interface only supports connecting one memory device.

Hi James,

You said, the device supports memories that are compatible with the JESD209 SDRAM specification.

Is it correct that this memory is JEDEC's “JESD209B”?

Am I correct in understanding that JESD209-3C (LPDDR3) is not supported, so anything above LPDDR3 cannot be connected?

LPDDR2 and above is not supported. Only first generation LPDDR (sometimes called LPDDR1 or mDDR)
