Building the H264 codec sample test application

Hi,

I am trying to build the sample test application that came along with the TI H264 codec, version 2_00_004, for the DM6446.

I initially got an error message "can't find input file 'dman3d.a64P' ". I fixed this by modifying the .pjt file to point to debug/dman3.a64P.

I now get the following error messages

>> warning: creating output section $build.attributes without SECTIONS specification

>> internal error: ABBREV_TABLE::find_decl: decl_map is not available

How do i fix this issue?

I am using CCS 3.3.82.13, bios 5.32.04 and framework components 2.21.

Hi Roopesh,

Version 5.32.02 of DSP/BIOS is not available on the TI website. So I am using 5.32.04.

Similarly, version 2.20.00.15 of FC is not available, so I am using 2.21.

I was using the older version of code generation tools ( 6.0.8). After updating to the version you have mentioned ( 6.1.2 ), I no longer see the error message. I am able to build the application and run it on the 6446.
