Tool/software:

Our customer is using M2-CC3301 with SK-AM62-SIP and is using the latest Processor SDK Linux 10.00.07.04.

Wi-Fi worked by following the steps in the document below.

How to enable BLE?

The following document describes that the pre-built CC33xx Image to be installed on Linux can be found in the secure resources.

2.2 UART Interface

I cannot find a link to a request form for the secure resources on the CC3301 product page.

Where is the request form for secure resources?

Hi,

I have an additional question.

I cannot download the Windows Installer.

Is the link to the Windows installer broken?

If so please correct it.

Currently in Processor SDK 10.0, BLE for CC33x1 is not supported. We are aiming to enable the support for the next Processor SDK release.

However, it is functional in the CC33xx Linux MPU SDK you have linked to before. The prebuilt images (with BLE support) can be found here: https://www.ti.com/tool/download/CC33XX-LINUX-MPU/1.0.0.5

Thank you for your reply.

The latest CC33xx software seems to be 1.0.0.6.

Should 1.0.0.6 be used?

The CC33xx software user's guide uses AM62x SDK 09.01.00.08.

Can BLE work with the latest SDK 10.00.07.04?

Is the actual name "rootfs" and not "root"?

Hi Maeda-san,

For integration into the AM62x SDK, we used an older version of the CC33xx SDK. So 1.0.0.6 is a much newer version, and we are working on syncing this to the AM62x Processor SDK.

Yes, for BLE this version should be used.

Yes, we have based CC33xx SDK on AM62x SDK 9. The CC33xx SDK contains patches that overlay onto the AM62x SDK. Currently only AM62x SDK 9.x is supported.

These names are interchangeable. You can use "root" or "rootfs", whichever is found on the SD card.

Thank you for your reply.

I suggested to our customer to use AM62x SDK 09.01.00.08 along with CC33xx SW 1.0.0.6 for BLE.

I would appreciate it if you could let me know when the AM62x PSDK with CC33xx BLE support is released.

Hi Sabeeh,

I used the AM62x SDK 09.02.01.09 along with CC33xx SW 1.0.0.6

Bluez stack was used. Processor is advertising and I scanned via "BLE scanner" android app. I can see the am62 is available, but couldn't connect to it.

my goal : - Processor is advertising and I want to connect to it via android app.

I used following commands to advertise in "bluetoothctl"

-power on

-agent on

-default-agent

-advertise on

I can connect to the processor board using Ubuntu laptop when am62 is advertising. But I couldn't connect using Android app.

Could you please help me in this? What may be the reason for this?
