CCSTUDIO: MSPM0: why don't jump to _c_int00 ?

Part Number: CCSTUDIO

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

We are study the boot of MSPM0,

The question from me is that,
When using reset_handler to jump into _c_int00, it will jump into _c_int00_noinit_noargs function. And the .map shows the ENTRY POINT SYMBOL is "_c_int00_noinit_noargs".

As I add the global variable value, it will jump into _c_int00_noargs function. I think it is because TICLANG compiler, and I want to know how can I jump into _c_int00?

Best Regards,

Zane

  • The linker chooses the smallest code size variant of the _c_int00 functions, based on what specific initializations are required at startup.  If there are no variables to initialize, and no command arguments to process, then it chooses _c_int00_noinit_noargs.  If there are global variables to initialize, then it cannot choose a variant with noinit in the name.  In your case, it chooses _c_int00_noargs.

    Thanks and regards,
