Hello,

We have a concept where tiboot3, tispl and u-boot are necessary to be flashed on QSPI NOR FLASH, and the linux rootfs needs to be flashed to eMMC.

Questions

tiboot3 and tispl need to be specifically compiled for QSPI NOR BOOT with any memory related configurations?
Do you have any concept for flashing a QSPI NOR same way as for the eMMC?

For eMMC flashing, we are able to do it via DFU-util. My question goes in the same direction, does this tool and USB flash be done to a QSPI NOR? What adjustments are necessary on the process?

Hi, if your A53 U-Boot is compatible with your flash part then the dfu interface for flashing can be started with the following

=> printenv dfu_alt_info_ospi
dfu_alt_info_ospi=tiboot3.bin raw 0x0 0x080000; tispl.bin raw 0x080000 0x200000; u-boot.img raw 0x280000 0x400000; u-boot-env raw 0x680000 0x020000; sysfw.itb raw 0x6c0000 0x100000; rootfs raw 0x800000 0x3800000
