SK-TDA4VM: Issue in Vision apps build

Hi,

I am currently working TI-PSDK-RTOS-j721e-evm-09_02_00_05 in that i tried to build the vision_apps by following the Vision Apps User Guide using this command "make vision_apps -j12" in the sdk_builder directory

but got a issue attached below

Could be please give assistance to resolve this issue

Hi,

Did you run the setup script first?

i.e.

cd ${PSDKR_PATH}

./psdk_rtos/scripts/setup_psdk_rtos.sh

Please ensure that the above is successful and the dependencies are available in /home/${USER}/ti/ folder

Then,

cd ${PSDKR_PATH}/sdk_builder
make sdk_scrub
make sdk -j
This should build the sdk

Hi,

I followed the steps you mentioned and tried to build now getting this error attached below but inside the ti arm-gnu-toolchain-11.3.rel1-x86_64-aarch64-none-linux-gnu folder is available.

Hi,

Are you on ubuntu 22.04 version?

The SDK 9.2 builds on this ubuntu version.

yes my system version ubuntu 22.04.

I am able to build this at my end with this ubuntu version.

Not sure what step are you missing here.

3 things to confirm here,

1. ./sdk_builder/scripts/setup_psdk_rtos.sh ran successfully and you have ran this script from the ${PSDKRA} folder

2. The make sdk_scrub in sdk_builder went through successfully and all the generated files are deleted.

3. then do make sdk which will build the SDK.

If the above 3 are successful, then you shouldn't face any errors.

I would suggest starting over again with a fresh extraction by deleting the /home/${USER}/ti folder.

This is getting populated from the setup script ./sdk_builder/scripts/setup_psdk_rtos.sh
