Pattern recognition for C6x

Hello,

I am looking for fixed-point pattern recognition / machine learning algorithms for supervised classification, preferably optimized for the C64x+.

Does VLIB contain classifiers that can also be used for other applications (e.g., sound recognition)?

What other free or non-free options are there?

Thank you.

  • Alex,

Since no one has replied in over a week, there probably is not a simple yes or no answer to your question. You have included a lot of requirements for what you seek, meaning that something would have to meet all of those (pattern recognition + learning + supervised classification).

My recommendation is to do what you have probably been doing for the past week: search TI.com and the TI Wiki Pages and the E2E forum for some of your keywords and see what you can find.

  • Thank you for your reply, RandyP.

I already had done the searches you mentioned, which is why I also asked about VLIB.

  • Alex,

From searching TI.com or the TI Wiki Pages, you have found the VLIB overview that lists the software components that it has. Any deeper detail would come from examining the code itself, for which you can apply as described in those documents.

Also searching TI.com for     free software    gets you to the same list of libraries on the TI Wiki Pages, with some branching out from there.

Your non-free options will include looking at the TI Developer & Design House Network (link on Home Page of TI.com) and also looking at some of the application example support like Video & Imaging from the TI.com Home Page.

The information that we have available is posted in these places for your help, but we may not have all of the particular examples you need. Maybe someone else will respond with more information from the Community.

    Regards,
    RandyP
