Hi all,
Probably many of you are aware that latest version of TI's DVSDK for DM6446 is 2.x with a heavy patched 2.6.18 kernel. This is a problem for adding support for modern Linux features like UBIFS for NAND support, or high-speed MMC/SD card among others, not to mention bug fixes from recent versions of the components in the DVSDK. Given the high demand from TI's customers for support a more recent kernel and DVSDK, RidgeRun has integrated and tested a commercial SDK (based on RidgeRun's SDK technology) for DM6446 and DM6446T SoC, integrating the same kernel used by the DVSDK4 for other platforms, and the stack of components from the DVSDK4 itself. RidgeRun SDK for DM6446 is available now.
Highlight features:
- Uboot 2010.12
- Kernel 2.6.32
- TI flash utils integrated (simple process for flashing out bricked boards from Linux).
- Support for DM6446T (800Mhz DSP)
- Support for UBIFS (ideal for simplify NAND preprogramming at factory)
- Support for RidgeRun's optimized gstreamer branch out of the box: easy integration of gstreamer technologies like RTSP servers, RidgeRun's HLS streaming for iOS devices, etc.
- RidgeRun's integrated configuration and deployment system for automated flashing of firmware.
- Uses codesourcery's toolchain.
- RidgeRun's professional support available directly with our engineers.
- RidgeRun SDK is one-time license fee per product developed. No royalties. No per-developer licenses.
