Audio In of Beagleboard xM Rev.C is not working

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DM3730

hi all,

i have a beagleboard xm rev.c which is ported on to dvsdk 4.01, angstrom linux kernel ver.2.6.32 running on it. Processor used in beagleboard  is DM3730.

when i record voice in beagleboard using arecord command and play it back i hear only noise and not the voice which was recorded.

Headset Mic was used for the recording purpose.

voltage level when measured at the audio-in port is found to be 0.02V (both left and right).

optimum level required for voice recording is around 2V-2.2V

how do i solve this problem??

regards,

shravan
