SK-AM68: The capacitor issue for SK-AM68

I assume you are asking about a customer AM68 design and using standard 2pin capacitors in place of the 3terminal capacitor?  3-terminal capacitors offer lower package inductance and thus have better decoupling performance when compared with standard 2pin capacitors.  We recommend customer use them when designing their own systems, but they are not required.  Power delivery network targets are provided for the low voltage, high current power rails - and those targets are required to be met. Using 3-terminal capacitors can help achieve those targets.
