We are interfacing an external DDR4 with the AM62x board.

We wanted to know how to test the DDR4 after initializing it so that we can confirm the DDR is properly initialized.

Vivek, we would recommend using the linux memtester tool that is built into the SDK. This is a stress utility that will help determine how robust your board design and DDR configuration is.

Hello James,

Can you share the path for that tool. I have not installed the linux SDK but the MCU plus SDK for Windows.

Are there any sample/sanity test cases for DDR4 for testing the functionality of DDR?

Vivek, there are a few simple GEL scripts in the CCS download to do various read/writes, or you can perform simple peek/poke using the memory browser in CCS. But otherwise, we recommend memtester for the stress testing.
