Dear Team,

I am trying to doing suspend to RAM functionality with J784S4XG01EVM board using Ubuntu 22.04 host pc environment.
I tried suspend to RAM functionality with ACPI and RTC also. but that`s not perform fine, means while i`m entering command for sleep mode it will going to sleep mode after that system will hang at that mode.
resume/wakeup functionality not happen. so at that time power reset only option to run normally.

so i request you that, do you have any other approach/solution for suspend to RAM functionality?
please guide.

Hello Shubham,

There is no support for suspend to RAM in the current SDK. The hardware supports but the software support is still not present. There is no plan to add in the next SDK. Please check the release notes in the future SDKs.

- Can you please give information about how to rtc0 enable and configure in dts file? , means steps and procedure of this activity. its very useful to me.

- And there is no support for S2R in current SDK. so can you suggest any other ti board which has hardware and software both supported S2R.

The above is for a different SOC. Something similar needs to be done on J784s4.

This is work in progress currently. This is not targeted for the immediate next SDK. Please check release notes.
