Dear Team,

I am seeking your recommendations regarding our application, which has multiple features. We aim to implement a touchscreen-based Human-Machine Interface (HMI) to facilitate the selection of different demos within a single application.

For instance, in the SVM demo, we would like to use HMI options displayed on the screen to select various camera views.

I have a few queries and would appreciate your insights:

Is a touch-based HMI interface supported with the TDA4VM platform?
The HMI-based interface preferably be USB or HDMI?
Could you recommend some compatible HMI display devices that work well with TI products?

We are working with Linux(22.04) Environment for initial development with SDK 8.2.

Hi Vyom,

Yes, touch-based interface is supported on this platform. We do not have a list of supported/recommended touchscreen displays, but in the past I have seen some demos with this type of display connected via HDMI and sometimes requiring an active adapter. A touchscreen display I've seen used in our office a few times has been from GeChic.
