Yes we are getting flickering on stream when sensor faces toward light.  We are using ISP of AM62A and disabled auto exposure feature on ISP.

Let us know possible root cause for this issue.

We have tried different exposure time like 5ms, 10ms, 15ms on image sensor and with all settings we are getting flickering effect.

If auto exposure disabled from ISP still flickering can occur due to ISP functionalities or tuning? Yet tuning for ISP is not performed and we are using IMX219 tuning file. Please let us know which tuning parameter and functionalities of ISP lead flickering effect on video.

Hi Jaimin,

Can you try the following to narrow down the possible reasons?

1. Completely bypass the ISP by directly streaming the camera data to the display. See if there is any flickering.

2. If you're using Gstreamer, add "sink_0::ae-mode=AE_MODE_MANUAL" to the pipeline to disable AE. See if there is any flickering.
