I got a question from my customer regarding JTAG emulation trace design.
The customer is using single TMS320C667x on the board.
According to Emulation and Trace Headers Technical Reference Manual (SPRU655I) section 10, the PCB trace should be controlled between 50 to 55Ohm.
Q1) Does it mean the impedance is controlled 52.5Ohm +/- 5%?
Q2) The customer wants to relax the error +/-10%.
In this case, which one is better, 50Ohm +/- 10% or 52.5Ohm +/-10%?
