SK-AM62B-P1: DFU booting error - yocto build

Hi,

I have done a  YOCTO build for am62xx , and I have enabled USB, DFU properties using u-boot menuconfig,

When I try to boot using tiboot3, it shows the following error:

U-Boot SPL 2023.04-ti-g836606420854 (May 09 2024 - 05:42:45 +0000)
SYSFW ABI: 3.1 (firmware rev 0x0009 '9.2.8--v09.02.08 (Kool Koala)')
SPL initial stack usage: 13408 bytes
SPL: failed to boot from all boot devices
### ERROR ### Please RESET the board ###

i also checks with SDK , it works fine for me .

can you provide me which all configs as to be enabled (r5,a53) for the correct yocto build ..

    Hi,

    I don't know about Yocto, but when using DFU, please use U-Boot defconfig "am62x_r5_usbdfu.config" to enable all the relevant config options.

    Hi Bin Liu,

    In my yocto build there is a similar file am62x_evm_r5_usbdfu_defconfig ,  i enabled all the configs shown in the "am62x_r5_usbdfu.config"

    then test using the yocto  build binaries , now the issue is its not showing proper logs in terminal , not able to send other binaries properly .

    attaching  boot logs,

    The board console log misses the next line:

        Trying to boot from DFU

    which basically means you didn't enable DFU properly in U-Boot.

    Were you manually enabling the config options in this defconfig? You should directly use this defconfig to build U-Boot.

    $ make ... am62x_r5_usbdfu.config
