This flash is part of the EVM & not the SoC itself. You may or may not have an OSPI flash on your custom board.

If you are booting the R5F application using Linux in SD card bootmode then the default R5F application (IPC) does not use the OSPI flash. If you have the flash available on your custom board, you may use it for any requirement of yours.
