C6457 Vibration Limits?

Hi all,

I have a custom board with a 'C6457 on it, and I am wondering if anyone has experience (or can point me to documentation) about the vibration tolerance of this part.  What I am concerned about is the heat slug attached to the top of the chip: the stuff holding it on seems more like thermal paste than glue.  Does anyone have any experience with this part (or really, and similarly-packaged part) operating under high vibration?

I was thinking of just adding a couple dabs of RTV between the heat slug and the top of the chip, is this for some reason a bad idea?

Expected acceleration is about 20G's.

Thanks.
