AM3358: SD Card detect pin- Hardware/software change requirements

Hi TI Team,
In my current design with AM3358 I am using pin C15 as SD Card Detect and its working fine(AM3358 booting from SD card). Now for some additional functionality I need to use C15 as a UART pin and want to change MMC0_SDCD SD Card Detect pin to other pin of SD Card detect i.e A13 or M17, As these are the two other options available.

Will this hardware change requires any firmware/software change ? If yes, then what are the changes I need to do?

Hi Sushil,

The only change needed is the pinmux for the new pin you choose, A13 or M17, to be in the same pinmux mode as that of C15 when it works for SD card detect, either in mmc0_sdcd mode or gpio mode.
