We've just started to develop using J721S2XSOMXEVM + J721EXCPXEVM, and I have a question about how to use CAN interface.
We need to develop an application that receives and sends CAN frames, and we'd like it to be linux application. Would it be possible?

Can I ask one more question? I've found this requirement for CAN demo on Processor SDK RTOS J721S2 document.
Does it mean that I need the GESI card to use CAN? and if it does then also works with linux MCAN driver?

Hi Juhyun,
That is a good find. I was not aware of that portion of the documentation, but there should be some CAN interfaces on the SOM/CP board.
Based on the EVM board user guide, there should be some CAN connectors on the large Common Processor board, and one on the SOM board: https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/spruj69/spruj69.pdf
If you run the below command and some CAN interfaces get listed, it should be as simple as physically connecting the CAN headers and copy pasting the commands in the SDK doc I shared in my previous post.

Please feel free to try out the Linux example in the Linux SDK documentation with these MCAN headers in the picture. I think running the example will be the best way to test MCAN availability and functionality.
