We are considering the AM5728 family of microcontrollers from Texas Instruments for incorporation into our latest product offering. Could you please share details regarding the obsolescence plan for this family?

Specifically, we would like to understand how many more years of availability and support are anticipated for this product family.

As per our understanding, The approximate estimated Year to End of life is 9.7 years.

Please review and advise "9.7 years from parts conception or now?"

I am unsure as to where the "9.7 years" number is coming from but I would encourage you to check out the revised longevity policy on TI.com:

Even though 10~15 years are the typical lifecycle, it often goes longer. A device will not be eligible for obsolescence as long as it's still being purchased, which AM57x has been and is expected to still be a very successful platform for years to come.

There are many new projects still being kicked off with this platform. With that being said, design away!
