TDA4AL-Q1: [USB][DFU] Failed to flash on OSPI via DFU mode

I tested on EVM with prebuild binaries of 9.2 SDK haven't faced any issue with that

Hi Diwakar,

Can you share complete steps which you followed to do this?. The first boot with USB was successful and while try to flash into OSPI, we are getting above failure.

Hi Diwakar,

I have tried to set the DFU variable as like below:

=> setenv dfu_alt_info "tiboot3.bin raw 0x0 0x080000;tispl.bin raw 0x080000 0x200000;u-boot.img raw 0x280000 0x400000"
=> dfu 0 sf 0:0 

Then I have tried to follow the DFU command to flash it on OSPI:
I can successfully download the files (tispl.bin & u-boot.img)



But the file tiboot3.bin is not successfully downloaded.
Please guide me on how to proceed it.


Between each command execution, I have executed the below command also in console:
=> dfu 0 sf 0:0

Please guide me on how to proceed it further.

I followed the same steps mentioned in TDA4 Flashing Techniques with the prebuild binaries and able to  flash the binary to the ospi.

What is your SW3 DIP Switch settings on the TI EVM? The SW3.1 controls whether OSPI is enabled or not. What do you get when you use the command 'sf probe' at U-Boot prompt?

Diwakar is out of office due to a holiday in TI India, and won't be able to respond until next week.

I have found the issue that alt name was changed.
Now I can able to download the binaries on OSPI. But still its not booting from OSPI NOR. Please confirm on the boot Switch

After the Changed proper DIP switch settings, we can boot it up from OSPI NOR device.
