DRA785: Is the DRA785 Suitable for High Sampling Rate and Low Latency Audio ANC Applications?

Part Number: DRA785

Tool/software:

Hi TI Experts,

We are developing a specialized adaptive noise cancellation (ANC) system, and we would like to know if the DRA785 is suitable for this application. Our key requirements are as follows:

  1. DSP Environment: We need a programmable DSP optimized for audio processing, supporting real-time, high-efficiency computation.
  2. High Sampling Rate Support: The system requires support for at least a 192kHz sampling rate, while maintaining ultra-low latency at the microsecond level to ensure the accuracy and immediacy of audio signals.
  3. Floating-Point Operations: To accelerate development and verification, we would like the DSP to support floating-point operations.
  4. Integrated AD/DA Support: The system needs seamless interfacing with audio input and output devices to simplify hardware configuration.
  5. C Language Development and Debugging Platform: Our team primarily develops in C, so we need a platform that supports C language development and debugging to enhance development efficiency.

We see potential in the DRA785 for audio processing, but we’re not certain it can meet all these requirements. If the DRA785 can meet our needs, or if TI has other DSP chips or development boards better suited for high sampling rate and low latency audio applications, we would greatly appreciate your recommendations!

Thank you for your assistance!
