Android Camera interface on analog inputs

Hello,

We are using DM816x EVM based on TI AM3894 SoC, which shipped with Gingerbread DevKit. Android offers handy Camera API, but the board is missing dedicated camera port, so we can only use analog inputs for video capturing. Is the TI Gingerbread preconfigured to enable using of these ports with Camera API, or we must sink to Linux level in order to capture video?
