J722SXH01EVM: Can ISP DCC binary files be generated locally on the processor board?

Hi Danxuan,

You can use the DCC Tuning Tool on either a Windows PC or Linux host PC to generate the DCC binary files. Because the SDK is not equipped with the DCC Tuning Tool, the binaries cannot be generated locally on the processor board.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I've used the "ISP Tuning Guide" as guidance many times before. According to "generate_dcc.sh", two pre-compiled binary tools from "git://git.ti.com/processor-sdk/imaging.git" are used to generated the DCC bin files: "dcc_gen_linux" and "dcc_bin2c". I recently realized that the source codes of these two binary tools are also shipped with the imaging software. Their locations are:

- imaging/algos/dcc/tools_src/dcc_gen

- imaging/algos/dcc/tools_src/dcc_bin2c

Can we compile these two tools from source for arm64 and then use them locally on the processor board? So that we will be able to generate the DCC bin files for ISP on the processor board for any raw image format on the fly.
