SK-AM62P-LP: Solution for running instrumentation cluster on Linux and Android simulataneously

Part Number: SK-AM62P-LP

Tool/software:

Dear Team,

We are working on SK-AM62P-LP for building a digital cockpit. Until now we were running Android Automotive on hardware.

But currently, we would like to run both Instrumentation cluster (on Linux) and IVI (on Android) with isolation

As I understand, there are 3 ways to achieve this:

1. Using QNX hypervisor : Cluster on QNX and IVI on Android Guest (Virtualization) : Huge License cost

2. Hardware partitioning : cluster on Linux and IVI on Android

3. Using Docker

We are interested in exploring option 2 & option 3.

Is there a solution available to guide us to run Android Automotive on top of Linux docker.

Best regards

Libin Jose.
