Using an USB camera

Ok, we are now trying a different approach. Same board and Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, but we would like to try with an USB camera.

Can you please give us some guidelines? Does the Kernel in DM816x AM389x PSP 04.00.01.13 include UVC driver etc.

Hi Ivan,

1. In case of DM816x, ISS support is still not added. So I am not sure if USB camera will work straight

2. However if you could add USB camera and V4l2 capture layer for the same, you can still go ahead with modifying camera HAL layer and have support for the same.
