PROCESSOR-SDK-AM69A: Final image file of Yocto to flash to SD card in SK- AM69

Part Number: PROCESSOR-SDK-AM69A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM69A

Tool/software:

Q1: AM69A with Arducam V3Link 4 Camera using Out of box application can I customize to "360 degree view" or "Bird eye view" with 4 camera of imx219.

A1: No, this is not a supported feature on the Edge AI out-of-box demo applications.

Can I get direct get final image file to flash inside SD card such astisdk-edgeai-image-j784s4-evm.wic but this is for Edge AI OS. I required for Yocto image file to flash directly in SD card without this following procedure https://software-dl.ti.com/jacinto7/esd/processor-sdk-linux-am69a/10_00_00/exports/docs/linux/Overview.html or bin file from image.

Thanks in Advance

  • Hi Ruban,

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking for. Could you please clarify?

Keep in mind that the only SDK validated and supported on SK devices are the Edge AI Linux SDKs. To Further clarify my previous response, you can develop your own "360 degree view" or "Bird eye view" application with 4x imx219 sensors on the Edge AI Linux SDK. You cannot accomplish this by modifying the out-of-box demo applications.

    Thank you,

    Fabiana

  • Hi Fabiana Jaimes,

    Thanks for the support.

    Fabiana Jaimes:

You cannot accomplish this by modifying the out-of-box demo applications.

I totally understood for this. To run the out-of-box demo application we use tisdk-edgeai-image-j784s4-evm.wic directly flashed to SD card and it is working.

I required Edge AI Linux SDK to flash directly to SD card for "you can develop your own "360 degree view" or "Bird eye view" application with 4x imx219 sensors on the Edge AI Linux SDK." For this I need flashing image directly into SD card for developing own application.

    Thanks in Advance

    Ruban

  • Hi Ruban,

You can develop your own application using the Edge AI SDK. I'm not sure I understand what you are wanting to do but if the Edge AI SDK is already flashed onto your SD card, there is no need to flash anything else.

    Thanks,

    Fabiana
