I teach DSP and currently I am designing a lab project (related multiple antennas) for my next course and since in our lab we have several SDK 6713, I would like to know if there is some off-the-shelf hardware that can be used with the SDK 6713 that could be useful for the project.
Very roughly, I am thinking of giving to the students the SDK 6713 connected to two I/Q modulators and the output of each modulator is fed to an antenna. The students must write the code to produce the four signals (two for every I/Q modulator). The frequency of the carrier is not fixed yet; since it is a teaching project, we have no special constraints about it and we can choose it as we please (more or less). The bandwidth of the signal produced by the DSP is not larger than 10 kHz.
Do you know about any hardware that could help me in this project? Keep in mind that although we can (obviously) do some soldering work, we would like to minimize the need of custom work.
