Slaveloader missing file !

Hi !

Following the VPSS Video Driver User Guide, i tried the instruction:

./slaveloader startup VPSS-M3 ti816x_hdvpss.xem3

But it doesn't work, because i don't have any slaveloader file, the only files found (on my target) were: slaverloader_release and slaveloader_debug

Which one should i use ? and why this slaveloader file is missing ?

Slaveloader should be in the same package where you get the ti814x_hdvpss.xem3 binary. Go to the PSP download page, click the HDVPSS Binary Package.

Thank you for the reply.I don't find any HDVPSS Binary package to download on ti website. I just have EZSDK download link. Do you have the link related to DVPSS Binary package to download ?

Bat,

EZSDK has different M3 firmware and utility to load M3 with PSP.

./slaveloader startup VPSS-M3 ti814x_hdvpss_1G.xem3 is the usage of PSP.

EZSDK use the below command:

./firmware_loader 2 dm814x_hdvpss.xem3 start

Check your SDK. you should see firmware_laoder and dm814x_hdvpss.xem3

Hi,

You can also use slaveloader_release or slaveloader_debug with following commands

./slaveloader_debug/release startup VPSS-M3 ti814x_hdvpss_1G.xem3

Thanks for your help. It works perfectly with instruction ./slaveloader_release but i wonder if there are any differences between ./slaveloader and ./slaveloader_release instructions.
