There are no plans to support SATA in StarterWare in the near future.

that is very strange move - to add support for features that could be easyly implemented, and skip support for complex and hard to implement features.

Hi Sergey,

The peripherals to be supported are finalised based on the requirement from the field. We do provide support for complex peripherals like USB, ethernet. If there is a significant requiremetnt for adding SATA support in StarterWare we can consider that.
