Table 6-1. Pin Attributes (ALV Package) (continued)

For the above application you will have to chooser pins that are configured as GPIO during reset.

The 2 GPIOs you referenced are configured as GPIO during reset.

Quick note:

The pullup supply voltage connected to the resistor configuring the revision and the SOC IO supply group the IOs references  1.8 V/3.3 V VDDSHV_MCU  are required to be sourced from the same voltage source.
