TDA4AL-Q1: use EdgeAI TIDL Tools with SDK 9.2.

Part Number: TDA4AL-Q1

Tool/software:

Hello TI.

Reference : https://github.com/TexasInstruments/edgeai-tidl-tools/blob/master/docs/version_compatibility_table.md

Reference : https://github.com/TexasInstruments/edgeai-tidl-tools/blob/master/docs/backward_compatibility.md

I am planning to use EdgeAI TIDL Tools 10.x because several models could not be converted. Currently, I am using RTOS SDK version 09.02.

I have a few questions regarding this:

1. The reference says, 'Example usage for updating OSRT components (assuming you are manually updating the C7x firmware with a patched SDK)'.

Where can I find the SDK patch? Is it possible to patch on the build server?

2. If I am working on an EVB or custom board, is it only possible in LINUX? Can it be used in QNX as well?"

Best regards,

JK

  • Hi Jim;

    1. could you tell us the exact version of 10.x that you plan to use? I will search it for you.

    2. So far it is only possible in Linux. But I will ask the QNX expert to confirm the status.

    Best regards

    Wen Li

  • Hello Wen Li.

Versions 10_00_07_00, 10_00_05_00, and 10_00_03_00 are available for use according to the reference.

I have currently tested version 10_00_05_00. And I would like to test all versions and, if possible, choose the latest version.

Should it be executed on a Linux EVB? I would like to apply the patch directly to the RTOS/Linux or QNX SDK so that the changes are instantly included in the build results.

    Best regards,

    JK

  • Hi JK,

EdgeAI is not supported with TI SDK QNX.

The TI SDK QNX support of TIDL can be viewed on the Vision Apps User Guide:
