CCSTUDIO: Tools Compatibility

Part Number: CCSTUDIO

Tool/software:

Hi team,

In the latest CCS version, there is package version of 3.3.83.20 in it.

① Is the CCS compiler version 3.3.83.20 compatible with Windows 11?
② Are the following tool versions compatible with the compiler version 3 3 83 20?
・ Code Generation Tool: 5.2.10
・DSP/BIOS: 5.33.06
・IQmath lib: 1.4D
・XDS 510 Emulator: 3.03.30

Best regards,

Kenley

  • Hello,

I don't understand what this means. CCS 12.8.1 is the latest version of CCS. CCS 3.3.83.20 is a very old version of CCS from a decade ago.

① Is the CCS compiler version 3.3.83.20 compatible with Windows 11?

The last version of Windows officially supported by CCS 3.3 is Windows XP-32.

People have gotten it to work with later Windows versions. But this is a completely unsupported environment. The below document are some tips on Windows 10. It will likely be applicable to Windows 11 (but no guarantees).

Yes. But no guarantees that they will work in a Windows 11 environment.

If you choose to use CCS 3.3, I strongly recommend using a native Windows XP environment for best chance of success.

    Thanks
