MCU_UART can be used in Linux and you can look at a similar dtsi for J721E on how to enable. WKUP_UART is reserved for TIFS traces, however, it can be disabled through the board cfg and used for other purposes.

I double checked in sysconfig, there is not such a option of keystone resource partitioning tool.

I am using the on line version, it is latest sysconfig.

You must press the icon to the far right of 'Software Product' and select the software product by navigating to the directory path where the k3-respart-tool is available:

[SDK_INSTALL_PATH]/board-support/k3-respart-tool.

#1. these are two approach to start or open a design. 

1.1 Start a new design should select Software Product

1.2 View a Existing Design: Open an Existing Design - Broswe.

#2. Anyway, I did not find such option to navigate to k3-respart-tool path.

#3. if click on the cloud icon on the right side, and select the file under out/ j784s4-evm.syscfg, return below error.

So the problem is there is not Keystone3 Resource Partitioning Tool, there should be a offline package for offline usage like that of DDR configuration.

I tried on newest Desktop version also in the beginning, it won't have the package in default installation definitely. The DDR packages is installed by myself.

Did you tried it by yourself? Or you forgot you installed another package on sysconfig.

If BROWSE to open the .sysconfig file k3-respart-tool\out\ j784s4-evm.syscfg, report error.

But how to disable WKUP_UART from TIFS trace? is it the SYSFW Debug Enable check box in below tap? Is it disabled in default?
