What are you trying to do with the SPI in your usecase?

M4F and PRU are programmed in a fundamentally different way, so you probably cannot just make some minor tweaks to run M4F code on the PRU.

M4F uses MCU+ SDK to run bare metal or FreeRTOS, and uses SysConfig to set up drivers and other parts of the system.

PRU cores only run bare metal code, so you are either programming in C or directly in assembly. We do provide a header file to make your code more human-readable when the PRU is reading or writing SPI registers, but that is different than the full MCU+ SDK driver that the M4F uses: https://git.ti.com/cgit/pru-software-support-package/pru-software-support-package/tree/include/am62x/sys_mcspi.h

There is not support for generating PRU SPI code from SysConfig.

Hi Nick,

I was doing a proof of concept at this time where I can connect two devices (one is master and one is slave) using the system SPI0.

I will continue my proof of concept using the M4 and once I got a working, I'll dig the sys_mcspi.h and try to create a slave app.
