Hi Expert,

customer using below instruction to enable selinux feature:

SELinux.rst

to enable SELinux permissive and enforcing modes.

You can use the following to verify if anything seems amiss:

This gist contains the additions to bblayers.conf and local.conf to enable selinux

This patch adds selinux to the builds

This gist adds SELINUX configs to the Linux kernel

This patch adds the SELinux packagegroup to the target I'm building (tisdk-default-image)

but customer encounter some issue when Yocto compile, because of you are using SDK10.0, customer are using SDK9.2, so there is some gap, need you help. could you provide a pre-compiled rootfs? or can you help check the error?

It seems that the attached error is not wholly related to SELinux and more likely some ATF binaries being added incorrectly? Can you please verify that there are no changes in the Yocto build setup before trying out SELinux?

Hi Aashvij,

You mean need customer to do below:

build the Yocto FS using the default SDK, and make sure there is no other change.
change the code for SELINUX, and rebuild it again.

Right?

I only use `MACHINE=am62axx-evm bitbake -k tisdk-default-image --runall=fetch` to download the code, but it keeps reporting errors. Downloading these codes takes too much time. If possible, could you provide the compiled downloads content to speed up the code compilation?

Can you specify the exact SDK version you need the download packages for?

I can try to see how much they are and if they can be provided in some way.

I was able to create a source mirror tarball with everything needed, it's about 20GB in size. I'm having some computer issues I'm working through but I should be able to upload this to a "TI Drive" share here probably tonight or tomorrow. Will keep you posted.

Hi Biao,

I've completed uploading the source mirror tarballs to a "TI Drive" share. I'll provide you access details offline, please check your email. Please share with end customer once you have it.

Then after download, you need to combine the different 10GB-sized pieces into a single tarball by concatenating them, and then extract it to your build/source-mirror folder. Then, add the below to your conf/local.conf file so they are used during build

# https://docs.yoctoproject.org/dev-manual/efficiently-fetching-sources.html#setting-up-effective-mirrors
SOURCE_MIRROR_URL = "file:///${TOPDIR}/source-mirror/"
INHERIT += "own-mirrors"

note that the most common image target that should be build is tisdk-edgeai-image, as per https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-linux/esd/AM62AX/10_00_00/exports/docs/linux/Overview_Building_the_SDK.html#build-steps Note that this also requires a "branding step" of modifying conf/local.conf.
