Hello TI,

I have one query regarding the safety assumptions listed in Safety manual.

We are using the TDA4APE MID PLUS ECO SoC (J742S2 series) and targeting for an ASIL B product.

As this SoC is designed to achieve ASIL D compliance, could you please give me the list of Safety assumptions which are mandatory for ASIL B?

Hi Swapna - Apologies for the delay.

The existing safety manual for TDA4VH covers the TDA4APE MID PLUS ECO SoC (J742S2 series) 27x27 as well.

Even through the device supports up to ASIL-D, you could utilize the the SoC to target for ASIL-B as well.

If you refer Section 5 of the safety manual, we have listed diagnostics listed to achieve ASIL-B and ASIL-D for each IP/module.
