confirm supported video capture options on TMDXEVM8168

I have a DM8168 application where video capture over DVI or YCbCr is required. According to this link below:

It would appear that DVI capture is not currently supported. Is this still the case or do you have an expected date of when it will be supported? Can you confirm if it is possible to capture YCbCr video signal from the component interface on the TMDXEVM8168 development board? Is this currently supported in software?

That is still the case for DVI capture. Currently you can use the TVP7002 on the Expansion I/O board to capture the analog component inputs.

Thanks for the feedback. I do want to be 100% sure with this...so you are saying that it is possible to capture a YCrCb signal using the IO expansion card and that this is supported in software already?

Hi,

Its possible to capture YCbCr capture using the analog port with component input. This is supported in latest ezsdk release. Digital input like DVI is still not supported on IO expansion board.
