Using RTFS with Windows and OMAP-138

We are developing a product using the OMAP-138 which uses a sata 2.0 hard drive.

Is there a program on Windows that I can use to format the hard drive as RTFS?

Once formatted, will there be any trouble reading and writing the HD on Windows?

Is TI's version of RTFS the same as FAT32?

  • RTFS is FAT32.   You should be able to format on Windows or with RTFS and read and write in Windows or DSP.      We do this all the time with SD card - format on PC, write on DSP, read on PC.   Format on DSP, write on DSP, read on Windows, etc.
