Hi Bruce,
What do you want to keep the frequency as? We have only test controller frequency of 25MHz in DDR mode without phy tuning. With phy tuning, upto 166MHz is characterized.
You can change this in device-tree files for ospi controller and the flash part node.

Hi,
I'd like to set the OSPI frequency to 50 MHz. Is this possible?
Regards,
Bruce
Hi Bruce,
50MHz is not advised nor tested for OSPI mode. What is the exact requirement here? If its about read speeds, you should be able to get faster speed with the help of phy tuning.

Tanmay
Hi Tanmay,
I'd like to boot my evaluation board (J784S4) in OPSI BOOT mode and observe the boot time evolution with different OPSI frequencies.

Bruce

As mentioned above by Tanmay. You could try with the already validated frequencies and measure the boot time.
Intermediate frequencies are not validated.
