SK-AM62P-LP: Enabling Suspend to RAM (S2R)

Hi team,

I'm in need to enable Suspend to RAM (S2R) in SK-AM62P-LP.

I tried following the documentation below:

But after

rtcwake -s 10 -m mem

System is put into sleep but its not waken up after 10 seconds as mentioned in the above documentation.

Is there anything to be configured beforehand?

Environment:

Board: SK-AM62P-LP

OS: AOSP 14 (10.0.0) (https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-android/esd/AM62PX/10_00_00/docs/android/Overview.html)

Hi Biju,

Can you share the output of interrupts? Lets check if the wake source is recognized.

Hi Anshu Madwesh ,When the system enters deep sleep after the rtcwake command, it doesn't wake up and requires a hard restart.

We are now trying to use GPIO as wake up or sleep source.

Referred SK-AM62P-LP AM62P SK Evaluation Module User's Guide

And in Table 2-12. GPIO Mapping, we identified GPIO used for "Low power mode enable" as MCU_GPIO0_22 (PMIC_LPM_EN0):

But the same is not listed in the Table 2-24. MCU Connector (J11). So we are not able to find out the pin number.

Could you please help on this?

Hello,

You do not need to modify the PMIC_LPM_EN signal.

You can refer to the general Linux SDK documentation for enabling a GPIO wakeup source: https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-linux/esd/AM62PX/10_00_07_04/exports/docs/linux/Foundational_Components/Power_Management/pm_wakeup_sources.html

Please note its not been verified that TI has not verified GPIO wakeup works with Android and we cannot provide support for this on E2E.
