I suppose you would like have the above output from a monochrome IR image input.
What is the exact operation you want to apply?

If it is a simple spatial filter, you may use MSC to do that.

The edge detection output is intended to be used in the LGE recognition algorithm. \

Is this possible by adjusting the coefficient of MSC?

If so, please send me the coefficients that I can test.

You would need to specify the requirement for edge detection first.

MSC is a 5x5 spatial filter.
If your requirement can be implemented by such a filter, than MSC may be possibly programmed that way.
